1.Introduction 2
  • Testing the students by assignments is
    one of the most popular form of written
    assignments in the colleges and universities.
    This is usually part of the course work and
    assessed by tutors to test the level of their
    understanding as well as their progress. There
    are many authors' who have defined the assignment
    and showed the methods for writing good
    assignment.
  • The main purpose of this study is ,to
    learn the students that how to write an
    assignment and which are those steps to be
    followed. It contains the main points which are
    given with suitable meanings and definitions.
    This study also covers some other main points
    such as instructions before writing assignment
    ,tips on format and how to structure the
    assignment .

  • 1.Do not number your title page.
  • 2. Ensure that the page number in your table of
    contents associate with text of your assignment .
  • 3. Always do your table of contents last.
  • 4. The text of your assignment with pages and
    section clearly numbered with a coherent
    introduction and conclusion.
  • 5.Should be used impersonal academic style.
  • 6. Font size should be at least 10.
  • 7. Numbering ,bold, italic and underline the
    heading/sub-heading and any important or special
    words.
  • 8.Spacing between text should be 1.5.
  • 9.Use of tables when necessary.

  • 7.1 Introduction
  • It is the main assist of your assignment. It
    should made powerful because it can attract
    the readers. Introduction contains the following
    steps
  • a) There must be background of the
    topic.(define topic in own words).
  • b) Mention of previous work on the subject.
  • c) Purpose/aim of writing.
  • d) Introduce the main ideas of your topic.
  • e) Definitions of using any complex
    terminology or acronyms.
  • f) A statement of the limitations of the
    work.
  • g) Introduction should be maximum 10 and
    minimum 8 of the whole assignment.
  • h) It should contains 1-2 paragraph.

  • It became clear in this study that it is
    extremely important for students as well for
    learners to see that how the writing of an
    assignment is important. the following steps
    should be learned to become a good assignment
    writer.
  • The above study suggested some
    instructions like selecting topic, collection of
    materials and so on . It also described that how
    would you format while writing an assignment .
    The main thing mentioned is, how you would give
    shape to your assignment .
  • The assignment should be written in simple
    language and words because it attract the readers
    very well. The writer should move from general to
    specific and should be familiar with all these
    methods of writing assignment. The writer also be
    able to search the authentic information from
    above mentioned sources.
  • It is the age of specialty , so it is
    suggested that the researches should produced
    some news ways of writing assignments for
    different disciplines because each discipline has
    own requirement.
