Title: TROY WIDGERY - STUNTMAN DREAMS

1
TROY WIDGERY - STUNTMAN DREAMS
  • Troy Widgery was no ordinary little boy. At the
age of four, he had begun to race quarter midget
cars, and was quite good at it, too. At age
seven, he was racing motorcycles, and by the age
of sixteen, he was taking skydiving. The thrill
of fast and extreme sports was driven by his
dream of one day becoming a stuntman.

2
Sky Systems
Troy Widgerys entrepreneurial spirit was evident
early on in his life, as during his college
years, he established a small skydiving
accessories business from his apartment. With
only 500 dollars, the young entrepreneur began
Sky Systems, a skydiving helmet and accessory
manufacturer that would later become the largest
in the industry with over 80 holding of the
market.

Skydiving Ambitions
As a kid, Troy Widgery had always dreamed of
being a stuntman. To accomplish this dream, he
worked on learning as many extreme sports as he
could, and one that stuck with him was skydiving.
While still running a skydiving accessories
business by the name Sky Systems, Troy Widgery
continued to engage in the sport, and would soon
join one of the best skydiving teams in the
world.

Airmoves Skydivers
Growing up, Troy Widgery was an avid skydiver. In
1992, he had the prime opportunity to take his
passion for the sport to new heights when he
joined one of the best 4-way skydiving teams in
the world called Airmoves. The team was very
good, and in 1993 had qualified to participate in
the U.S. Skydiving Championships.
Embracing Opportunities
Any successful entrepreneur knows that to achieve
a dream, one must be willing to work hard and
have the determination to see the dream through.
Troy Widgerys dream of becoming a stuntman might
have been hampered by a plane accident, but he
found a new goal when he established the Go Fast
Sports Beverage Company in 1996.
