dedicated to working for the welfare of people
and the community. She has been supporting the
National Audubon Society since many years. It is
a nonprofit organization that is committed to
protecting, analyzing, or monitoring the
environment against degradation or misuse from
human forces.
3Founded in 1905, it is one of the oldest
organizations located in the United States of
America. It utilizes education, science, along
with grassroots advocacy to advance its mission.
The society has approximately 500 local chapters,
and has numerous global partners to assist birds
that migrate beyond borders, including Bird
Studies Canada, BirdLife International based in
England, and a number of partners in the
Caribbean and Latin America.

5Jessica Kahal describes that in 2001, National
Audubon Society formed a new model for locating
energy transmission lines along the East Coast to
assist preserve wildlife and bird habitat. The
President of the organization has created eco
friendly siting for renewable energy, which is
one of the top priorities of the society.
Mississippi River and Louisiana Coastal
Initiatives of it have been assisting to
reinstate coastal wetlands and to fix Mississippi
River delta marshlands.

7Jessica was a popular student of Palos Verdes
Peninsula High School where she studied for 4
years. She is a brilliant musician and swimmer,
as well. During her school time, she received
many awards and honors in both these fields,
which include Most Improved Advanced Orchestra,
MVP Frosh/Soph Swimming, United States Marine
Corps- Semper Fidelis Bandsman Award, and Most
Improved- Frosh/Soph Water Polo.

9Jessica Kahal is also awarded by the Spanish
National Honor Society. It is an academic honor
society that is focused on Spanish language
perfection in secondary education and advocates a
continuity of interest in Spanish studies.
