Finance Bank Zambia to List on LuSE

  • Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the Finance Bank Zambia
Chairman is an ambitious man who has dedicated
his career towards the development of Zambia and
other African countries. In a career that runs
beyond 30 years, Dr. Mahtani has worked with a
dedicated heart and has produced fruitful results
through the Finance Bank of Zambia and Zambezi
    Portland Cement Factory.

3
Achievements of Dr Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani
4
In 2014, a major milestone was achieved by the
Finance Bank of Zambia when the bank had
re-opened its branch in the city of Lilongwe, the
capital of Malawi. FBZ was amongst one of those
few branches which had achieved an international
status for Zambia. On the other hand, the Zambezi
Portland Cement Factory has produced a prolific
result for the year 2014 as it has successfully
produced an excess of 100, 000 tonnes of cement
for purpose of meeting the needs of the Ndola
Housing project.

News
  • The flashing news of the moment is that Finance
Bank Zambia PLC has maintained its listing
proceedings with the Lusaka Stock Exchange (LuSE)
and local people will have an opportunity to
claim a stake in FBZ soon.
  • Apart from the false claims in Zambia Reports,
there is no reason at all for FBZ PLC to delist
itself from the LuSE and each procedure is
    working with most extreme concordance.

6
A False Claim
  • A defamatory endeavour on Dr. Rajan Mahtani by
Zambia Reports was highlighted on 4th March 2015,
when Zambia Reports gave a shocking statement. As
per this statement, FBZ (Finance Bank of Zambia)
will be withdrawing their listing procedure from
    the LuSE (Lusaka Stock Exchange).
  • Zambian Eye, a creative online news system had
likewise distributed the news of delisting.

7
When it was understood that the news is fake,
Zambian Eye quickly evacuated the substance and
introduced a statement of regret to the Finance
Bank and Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Nevertheless, they
realised their blunder quickly and immediately
removed its article and placed an apology.
However, Zambia Reports is still under some very
malicious and false influence and it will be
interesting to watch their next move in near
future. However, Zambia Reports is still under

Dr. Mahtani is a respected person in Zambia and
irrespective of what rumours are being spread, he
continues to win the heart of millions through
his hard work and achievements.
