4 Packaging Problems That Bust Your Business
2
Why You Losing Business
3
Getting it right!
  • Materials
  • Are you using the right Packaging materials?

4
There are tens of millions of products out there
and getting the right sizecardboard box, jiffy
bags or whatever packaging material is
crucial.Just image how many refunds and unhappy
customers you would have if any of your products
arrived broken because the packaging was just way
to big. If this is the case try to find
alternatives such as Loose Fill Chips.
  • Packaging Material

5
Durable Packaging
  • Quality
  • Are your products arriving in one piece?

6
  • Quality Packaging

No on likes to get a package through their mail
that is all crumbled up or filled with holes and
lose ends. For one they might be receiving
damaged goods, then theres the big thing that
is called brand image and you dont want your
business to get a bad reputation because you
decided to pile cheap packaging materials for
your products, rather that good quality packaging
materials, then theres the issue of privacy, the
whole point of having your goods delivered in
cardboard boxes or padded envelopes is so no one
can see whats inside, so please think about your
customers needs.
7
Help, I cant open it!
  • Efficiency
  • Are your packages so over sealed that no one can
    open them?

8
Have any of you ever received a package through
the post and nearly broke the scissors or knife
when opening it? Isnt it annoying when you
have been waiting for a week for your deliveries
to arrive and once its finally home you cant
open it for the love of the money.Try not to
over seal the package before dispatch, youre
customers wont thank you for this and it could
also be saving on business materials. This can be
a bit of a hit and run so I would recommend
testing a few packages out until you get it right!
  • Effective Packaging

9
Oh no, it arrived broken
  • Prioritize
  • Are you putting the item in correctly?

10
Lets say youre dispatching 4 products to the
same customer. Would you put them all in the same
box or put them in separate packages?I would go
for the later if I had a choice as it just comes
across as moreprofessional, however if youre
trying to save on packaging materials or you just
havent got the right packaging for the products,
I would put the heaviest product in first and
then go through to the lightest product. There
is nothing worse then receiving your goods only
to realize that half of them are broken due to
poor decision-making.So next time you are
packing you products for dispatch think about
your clients needs as the product is only a part
of what they are receiving through the post.
  • Heavy Items first

Your Decision
  • Do You Want To Loose
