What is Hydroquinone ?
Hydroquinone 4 (Brand Name Melanorm, Melalite,
Eukroma) also benzene-1,4-diol or quinol, is an
aromatic organic compound that is a type of
phenol, having the chemical formula C6H4(OH)2.
Its chemical structure, features two hydroxyl
groups bonded to a benzene ring in a para
position. It is a white granular solid.
Substituted derivatives of this parent compound
are also referred to as hydroquinone.

• How to use hydroquinone
• Test for skin sensitivity
• Clean and dry the skin before applying a thin
  film of cream twice daily to the area(s) in need
  of bleaching.
• Rub into the skin well.
• Apply just enough to cover the affected areas and
  avoid applying to normal skin.
• Do not apply near the eyes, mouth, and other
  mucous membranes.
• When using non-medicated cosmetics, sunscreens,
  and moisturising lotions, apply hydroquinone
  first, then wait several minutes before applying
  them over the top.
