  • Verbal
  • There are two sections with 20 questions each.
    The time allotted is 30 minutes for each section.
  • These questions are based on reading
    comprehension, text completion and sentence
    equivalence.
  • It measures your skills in analyzing and
    evaluating written material, synthesizing
    information obtained from it, analyzing
    relationship among component parts of sentences
    and recognizing relationship between words and
    concepts.
  • Quantitative
  • There are two sections each with 20 questions to
    be completed in 35 minutes each.
  • Under this section your elementary mathematical
    concept is measured.
  • The content area includes arithmetic, algebra,
    geometry and data analysis that are usually
    learned in high school.
  • In the regular computer based test, computer
    interface is used. in verbal reasoning and
    quantitative reasoning question varies from easy
    to difficult range. The first section is of
    average difficulty and then in the second section
    on the bases of overall performance of first
    section, questions are administered.
  • Analytical Writing
  • It consists of two writing tasks, one in each
    section. Time allotted is 30 minutes for each
    section.
  • The writing task includes 1) Present your
    Perspective on an issue-  it concerns with
    viewpoint, an opinion on a general interest issue
    and asks examinee to address it from any
    viewpoint they wish along with relevant reasons
    and examples explanation, to support their views.
    2) Analyze an Argument- the examinee needs to
    analyses an argument by discussing logically as
    per their view.
  • The computer based individual test uses basic
    word processor developed by ETS. It allows basic
    functions like insert text, delete text,
    cut-and-paste and undo previous action.
