production.  South Africas iron ore
production in 2013 was estimated to have
increased marginally over the previous year,
despite domestic consumption having increased by
around 6.3 over 2012, with most of the iron ore
consumed by the domestic steel industry.

ore projects which are scheduled to commence
operations, are expected to increase South
Africas iron ore production.
