AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANUAL-AMM
  • The AMM contains data that includes the scheduled
    maintenance procedures identified by the
Maintenance Requirements Manual (MRM). It gives
instructions to service, replace, adjust, test,
inspect, check, clean, paint, and repair the
aircraft systems and equipment on the aircraft,
usually done on the ramp or in the maintenance
    hangar.

  • The ATA Chapter numbers provide a common
referencing standard for all commercial aircraft
    documentation. This commonality permits greater
ease of learning and understanding for pilots and
engineers alike. The standard numbering system is
controlled and published by the Air Transport
    Association.

AIRCRAFT ILLUSTRATED PARTS CATALOGE-AIPC
  • AIPC describes the component breakdowns of
structure and equipment in disassembly sequence.
Also included are exploded views or cutaway
illustrations for all parts and equipment
    manufactured by the aircraft manufacturer.
  • It illustrate the parts by figure, item number,
part numbers and most important of all aircraft
applicability i.e., A/C MSN. IPC also shows parts
    interchangeability and vendor code.
  • AIPC can be used as reference documents for
finding the parts, its part number, quantity,
    appearance/illustration while working on the
    Aircraft.

22
WIRING DIAGRAM MANUAL-WDM
  • The WDM contains point to point data to tell
    maintenance persons about electrically operated
systems and components applicable to the aircraft.

23
NON DESTRUCTIVE MANUAL-NDT
  • NDT manual contains data to inform the
    maintenance personnel with the nondestructive
test procedures to be done on the aircraft. This
data is given in the Maintenance Review Board
    (MRB) Document, specially the Maintenance
    Requirements manual (MRM).
  • Contains General data and procedures for X-ray,
    ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle,
fluorescent penetrate, Gamma ray, resonance, and
    visual inspection.

24
FIM
  • The function of the FIM is to give aircraft
maintenance personnel sufficient data to isolate
system/component malfunctions that occur in the
aircraft systems as quickly and as accurately as
possible. Generally, the FIM is limited to the
replacement of line replaceable units (LRU)
and/or wiring repairs necessary to correct these
malfunctions. Regular or scheduled maintenance is
not included as part of the fault isolation.
  • Usually, the fault isolation does not include
multiple problems, unless the appearance of two
or more faults are necessary to cause the
    malfunction.

25
AIRCRAFT RECOVERY MANUAL-ARM
  • The AIRCRAFT RECOVERY MANUAL is intended to
provide Airlines and Airport Authorities with
    optimum planning, preparation and accomplishment
data for the Lifting and moving of a disabled
aircraft which may be obstructing airport traffic.

26
AIRCRAFT SCHEMATIC MANUAL-ASM
  • Schematic Diagrams are simple diagrams that
illustrate the major components and function of a
system such as hydraulics or fuel, etc. This is
used for training or general reference. Some
schematic will have detailed information that
will help the mechanic to diagnose a problem or
    repair it.

27
ILLUSTRATED TOOL EQUIPMENT MANUAL-ITEM
  • The ITEM describes, lists, and illustrates the
Ground Support Equipment (GSE) available for the
aircraft. The ITEM also highlights the GSE, which
are necessary to do specified tasks during flight
    line and hangar maintenance.
  • This manual describes the features of the Tool
equipments that is to be used for aircraft
    maintenance.

28
AIRPORT PLANNING MANUAL-APM
  • The Airport Planning Manual (APM), contains
general data on the airport facilities, ramp, and
runway areas necessary to operate the aircraft.

29
AIRPLANE FLIGHT MANUAL-AFM
  • This Airplane Flight Manual contains limitations,
procedures and performance data for the operation
    of the airplane.
  • It is the responsibility of pilots who are
qualified to operate the airplane to be entirely
familiar with the information contained in this
publication to ensure that the airplane is
operated at all times within the approved flight
    envelope.

30
FLIGHT CREW OPERATING MANUAL-FCOM
  • The Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM) is
designed to provide the flight crew with readily
    accessible operational information. For optimum
utilization of the manual, this introduction
    should be read carefully.
  • The purpose of the FCOM is
  • to provide information regarding operational
    procedures, performance and limitations
  • to standardize terminology and behavioral
    patterns
  • to provide rapid access to reference procedures
  • to provide information on airplane systems and
operations that are controlled and revised.

31
FLIGHT PLANNING AND CRUISE CONTROL MANUAL
  • This Flight Planning and Cruise Control Manual
contains performance data for the operation of
the airplane. All of the performance data in the
Flight Planning and Cruise Control Manual are
governed by the limitations of the Airplane
Flight Manual, and are provided as advisory
    information only.

32
ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS - STANDARD
PRACTICES MANUAL
  • The SPC contains point to point data to tell
    maintenance persons about electrically operated
systems and components applicable to the airplane.

33
MASTER MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LIST-MMEL
  • A Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) is an
    approved document created specifically to
regulate the dispatch of an aircraft type with
    inoperative equipment. It establishes the
aircraft equipment allowed to be inoperative
under certain conditions for a specific type of
aircraft and still provide an acceptable level of
safety. The MMEL contains the conditions,
limitations and procedures required for operating
the aircraft with these items inoperative. The
MMEL forms the basis for development and review
of an individual operator's Minimum Equipment
    List (MEL).

34
MAINTENANCE TASK CARD MANUAL-MTCM
  • The Maintenance Task Card Manual (MTCM), contains
the tasks cards with all the procedural
requirements to do the tasks that have been
identified in the Maintenance Requirements Manual
    (MRM).
  • Tasks cards are written to direct maintenance
personnel to do a specific maintenance task. They
are written in a clear and concise manner that is
transcribed accurately from the intent of the MRM
items and include all the regulatory requirements
    using good maintenance procedures.
  • The extent to which the manufacturers task cards
are used will change from one customer/operator
to another depending on the number of maintenance
    resources available (i.e. Engineering,
    Maintenance Planning, Aircraft Records, in-house
repair shops, etc.). A customer/operator may
choose to use these task cards or write their own
task cards according to their maintenance
    policies and procedures.

35
POWER PLANT GROUND RUN MANUAL-PPGRM
  • The Power Plant Ground Run Manual (PPGRM)
    contains engine operational limits, engine
    emergency procedures, abnormal engine operation
    and ground run operational tests.
  • It is possible that the instructions given in the
PPGRM will not identify all possible differences
    for equipment, installation, operation or
    maintenance of the aircraft.

36
MAINTENANCE PLANNING DOCUMENT-MPD
  • Maintenance Planning Data  documents data
developed by the manufacturer of a particular
airplane that contains the information each
operator of that airplane needs to develop a
    customized, scheduled maintenance and inspection
    program.
  • MPD also refers as Maintenance Requirement Manual.

37
OTHER VARIOUS TYPES ARE FOLLOWS
  • MAINTENANCE FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT PLANNING
    MANUAL
  • POWER PLANT BUILDUP MANUAL
  • WEIGHT BALANCE MANUAL.
  • RAMP SERVICING/TRAINING MANUAL.
