Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

• Intrauterine insemination (IUI) also named as
  Artificial Semination involves injection of
  washed sperm into the uterus with a catheter.
• Intrauterine Insemination procedure is most
  ordinarily used for unexplained pregnancy.
• The actual IUI procedure is quick and relatively
  painless, though there may be some discomfort.

IN VITRO FERTILISATION (IVF)

• In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a process by
  which an egg is fertilised by sperm outside the
  body.
• The process involves monitoring and stimulating a
  woman's ovulatory process, removing egg or eggs
  from the woman's ovaries and letting sperm
  fertilise them in a fluid medium in a laboratory.
• IVF may be used to overcome female infertility
  where it is due to problems with the fallopian
  tubes, making fertilisation in vivo difficult.

INTRA CYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION (ICSI)

• Intracytoplasmic sperm injection is an in vitro
  fertilization procedure in which a single sperm
  is injected directly into an egg.
• The procedure is most commonly used to overcome
  male infertility problems, although it may also
  be used where eggs cannot easily be penetrated by
  sperm, and occasionally in addition to sperm
  donation.

INTRACYTOPLASMIC MORPHOLOGICALLY-SELECTED SPERM
INJECTION

• The Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection
  selected,known as IMSI for is a laboratory
  technique used in IVF treatments (IVF) involves
  inserting sperm into the egg morphologically
  selected.
• IMSI is a real-time method where sperms are
  selected before the microinjection takes place.
