Released by Gluu
- Gluu announced a new release of its OX OpenID
Connect 1.0 platform, version 0.3. This new
version includes over twenty new features, but
the most important enhancement enables
organizations to control access to enterprise
Single sign on server applications. -
- Michael Schwartz, CEO explains Dynamic trust
where the person using the app is prompted to
authorize a requestis needed to support the
incredible proliferation of clientsboth websites
and apps. This is the default behavior for a
dynamically registered client. However
organizations can now register special clients,
and specify that they are pre-trusted. This is
useful in cases where the organization is
integrating a number of cloud applications and
backend services into a single portal. -
- Schwartz continued, In addition to specifying
that an app or website is pre-trusted, you can
specify that only certain people in your
organization can access it. The people specified
map back to groups in your organization.
2Gluus open source OX platform implements the
OAuth 2.0 authorization model, as specified in
the OpenID Connect profile. In addition to the
open source version of OX, Gluu operates an on
demand cloud utility service for organizations,
enabling rapid automated deployment of a network
of dedicated cloud identity servers. Other
features included in this release include support
for additional cryptographic algorithms,
configurable rules to enable organizations to
implement custom authentication logic, support
for custom client attribute and a number of
performance enhancements to minimize the memory
footprint and maximize the throughput of the
