A number of things may cause your cell phone
screen to turn black such as the phone dropping
on a surface or in water. Sometimes you may be
using your phone and suddenly it turns black.
This does not mean that it is the end of using
your phone since it can be salvaged. Below are
some steps you can use to bring the screen of
your cell phone back to life.

Turn your phone off and on using the power
button. This may bring back the screen to life if
the problem had been caused by a software
malfunction. The other option is to remove the
battery while the cell phone is still on, forcing
it to get rid of the temporary memory that could
have been causing the screen to remain black.
Return the battery and power on the phone. The
screen should light up. If the above methods do
not work, you can reset the phone to the original
configuration. You can do this using the user
manual provided with the phone. This may resolve
the problem with the screen if it may have been
caused by software problems.

the phone and therefore, breaking the circuits.
