    around for thousands of years. This ancient
    practice has been the foundation of physical and
    spiritual healing, while also helping people with
    self-awareness. Many cultures around the world
    use this practice that works on the premise that
    everything in life has a spirit and everything in
    life is interconnected through the so called web
    of life. Cultivating the connection between all
    things and nature leads to balance and harmony.

  • The traditional shamanic practice leads one into
    an altered state and this is often done using
    rattles and drums that create the sound field
    that leads to a change in consciousness. The
    altered state is what is referred to as a
    shamanic journey and it is used as a way to
    access wisdom and help from within. During the
    journey, the practitioner or shaman encounters
    guides or helping spirits by shifting into an
    altered state beyond the present mental ability.
