Dr. Rajan Mahtani
Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the chairman of Finance Bank
and Mahtani Group of Companies, is a reputed man
in Zambia. He is a great businessman and known
nationally as well as internationally throughout
the world for his financial and philanthropic
activities. He is a man Zambians rely on. The
people of Zambia call him the Hero of the Nation.

Contributions of Dr. Rajan Mahtani
Dr. Rajan Mahtanis contribution towards the
nation and its people is mention worthy. He had
always worked for the betterment of Zambia and
the Zambians and will continue to do so in future
as well.

Helped Finance Bank Zambia Restore Its Lost Glory
During the Rupiah Banda rule the bank suffered
from a real setback. Only when Dr. Mahtani got
back the bank by rightful means, the FBZ could
reach heights of success and regain its lost
glory. Under the tutelage of Rajan Mahtani, the
indigenous bank of the nation recorded a profit
of ZMK 76.033 billion in 2012. This great man
single-handedly brought back the bank to its
original position.

An ICT Lab Has Been Donated to Rusangu University
PICZ, a member of Mahtani Group of Companies,
under Rajan Mahtanis chairmanship donated an
Information Communication Technology lab to
Rusangu University at Monze. The lab worth
K212000.

Provided Rural Areas of Zambia with Clean Water
Access
There was not much water in some rural areas in
Zambia. Finance Bank under the chairmanship of
Dr. Rajan Mahtani partnered with World Vision
Zambia to provide clean and safe water to those
rural communities. 11 boreholes were drilled in
11 districts of Zambia allowing women of the
families with ample of time to do other important
works.

A Huge Sum of Money Has Been Donated to a
Hospital and an Orphanage Centre
During the festival season Dr. Mahtani donated a
huge sum of money to the hospital staffs and
patients at Kawambwa Hospital and orphans at the
Kachema Musuma Orphanage Centre. His donations
had gone a long way in putting a huge smile on
the faces of these people who are hardly been
thought about during merry making.
