Below-mentioned are the stretches for the lower
back pain
  • 1. Straightening your spin- Sit in crossed leg
    pose, lift your hands and breathe in. Intermingle
    the fingers and do not break the elbows. Your
    bicep should touch the ears. Now, hold the
    position for two to three deep breathes.
  • 2. Twisting your spine- Sitting in the same
    position, breathe out and twist from right to
    left and hold. Breathe in and come to center.
    Vice versa for the other side.
  • 3. Bending the spine- In the same pose, breathe
    out and bend to left side. Hold the position for
    some second and keep normal breathing. Inhale and
    come to the midpoint. Repeat the same for the
    other side.
  • 4. Bend the spine frontward- exhale when you move
    your hands frontward. Then, breathe in and
    stretch your lower back from lower. Inhale and
    return to your position. Same goes for the other
    side.
  • 5. Side-to-side twist- Keeping your right palm on
    the left knee twist your lower back towards left.
    Breathe out and twist the lower back. You can
    hold the left side of the hip with your left
    palm. Similarly, goes for the other side.
