Pick out some t-shirts

• Loose, comfortable t-shirts are one of the
  most basic aspects of tomboy style. Cotton shirts
  in boyish colors (forest green, navy, grey,
  black, brown, maroon, etc.) are always great to
  have on hand--and go with pretty much every
  outfit.
• You should also buy some stylized tees.
  Shirts with band names, skater themes, and skulls
  (among other styles) are all considered tomboyish
  clothes. You can also look for shirts with
  sarcastic or funny images or phrases on them.

Confidence to wear

• The confidence to wear what you want and feel
  comfortable in without feeling like a slob or
  unkempt. If you consider yourself a tomboy but
  feel like wearing a dress, do it. The most
  important thing is that you remember to be
  yourself.

Dressing up like a princess
It was ludicrously afraid that by dressing up
like a princess for a day I would somehow
compromise the person I thought I was. I had to
come to terms with the fact that wanting to wear
a cupcake dress doesn't make me feel like less of
a badass. It makes me a woman who often gets
dressed in the dark but who also wants to look
like the belle of the ball occasionally.

• Women who identify as a tomboy to embrace and
  feel confident in who they are.  The Pretty
  Tomboy movement is currently in its infancy but
  my ultimate goal is for the word "tomboy" to be

  a means for women to show pride in identifying as

  various faces, races, ages, sexual orientation,

Classic Tomboy Looks
One of the most classic tomboy looks is a pair of
converse sneakers. They come in a variety of
colors and heights from low-cut to high-top. To
add some extra spunk to your shoes, replace the
normal white laces with some funky shoelaces. You
can buy these at your local novelty stores.

• The Pretty Tomboy Story
• Boyish, unfeminine, aggressive these were
  the words I heard growing up.
• As early as elementary school, I knew the
  thoughts that I had and the things I wanted to do
  were very different from other little girls. 
  When most girls my age wanted to play with dolls,
  jump rope or play house, I wanted to hang out
  with the boys, play street sports and climb
  trees.  I absolutely hated wearing dresses and
  when my mother and sister would begin cooking, I
  made a beeline outside.  Id much rather do the
  dishes than cook any day.
