How to Take Care of the Furniture You Just
Bought from a Sarasota Patio Store

2
Choose the Material Wisely
Remember, the furniture you've purchased from the
Sarasota Patio Store is for your courtyard. So,
they have to be sturdy and resistant from the
natural elements. Go for UV-protected furniture
that do not fade quickly. Synthetics are more
durable than natural materials, but, tend to be
quick-fading.
3
Clean up the Furniture Regularly
Your garden furniture needs to be cleaned
frequently. Make sure to use the vacuum cleaner.
Wipe away moisture from the furniture surfaces
and allow them to air dry. Use brushes with soft
bristles to scrape off dust and dirt. Always use
mild soap solutions to clean patio furniture.
4
Mend any Damages and Broken Parts
After you have cleaned your patio furniture, make
sure to repair damaged parts. Damages tend to
become worse with time. So, always make sure that
your courtyard and the furniture in it remains
well-maintained.
5
Polish them once in a while
A coat of varnish upon wooden furniture or a
layer of wax upon plastic furniture brings back
the original shine of worn-out furniture. And, if
you have wicker decors, always apply a layer of
car wax upon it. For metal furniture, remember to
use a rust guard.
6
Do not ditch the covers
Do not leave your furniture uncovered under harsh
weather conditions. They will soon wear-out. So,
when the winter sets in, or monsoon is on the
rise, use beautiful covers to protect your
outdoor furniture from the elements of nature and
maintain the grand look of your patio as well.
