Clothing in Different Patterns
  • In the Chinese clothing, Cheongsam is considered
as the solitary article. In the year seventeenth
century when China was regulated by Manchu,
Cheongsam was also deeming as the traditional
Chinese clothing of the people in China. Worn by
the woman in China, the design of this
traditional dress had a high neck that was
coupled by a straight skirt and covered the
majority part of the body from head to toes and
also in hands. This traditional type of cloth is
made from the silk and had very complex
embroidery. Nowadays, you can order these dresses
but its twist in the modern version. Cheongsam
nowadays is made already of fabrics instead of
silk. In olden times in China, this type of dress
was worn everyday by the woman but nowadays in
the modern time, wearing this dress is limited.
  • Woman can wear it only in some occasions or
important events like beauty pageants, weddings,
parties, and formal occasions or else in social

people wore it as uniform in work on hotel,
restaurants and in airplanes. When Manchu ruled
China a Banner System was establishedthis was a
system used to systematize the Manchu families
into different divisions within the ruling
    administration. This traditional chinese dress
was worn by the Manchu women and time goes by it
was given a pen name as the banner gown. In the
year 1636, the male version of this traditional
dress was created and its become compulsory to
wear. In Shanghai, it became a trendy dress in
the upper class and famous person in the year
1920s. While in the Communist rule in 1949 this
dress become untrendy and in year1950s, the dress
was taken from Shanghai to Hong Kong where it
stay a well-liked dress for working women.
  • Everyone can avail or buy this traditional dress
for the amount of one hundred dollars but if you
want a customize one, it will cost more
expensive. In online market, they also offer same
high colors as well as intricate embroidery in a
very reasonable price. The precise embroidery
elements once found in historical dresses are now
being included far beyond the Cheongsam and can
be seen in a myriad of other Chinese traditional
clothing like the Mao suit as well as jackets and
shirts for children. The Mao suit is a two piece
male business suit that gives further details
