Cherry Valley Farms Limited
Cherry Valley was established in 1959 with its
head office in Rothwell, England. It is the
market leader in the breeding and processing of
high grade duckling for the UK, European, Asian
and Far East markets. The brand name is
synonymous throughout the world with quality and
efficiency at all stages of the production
process. Recognition of these performance
benefits by producers and consumers has made
Cherry Valley the worlds premier duck breed.
The Company has two major business areas The
Cherry Valley integration, which supplies quality
frozen and cooked ducklings to the UK, European,
and China markets, and Cherry Valley Livestock,
which services the duck industries of the world
with breeding stock technology. These two
businesses are complementary, and provide the
Company with expertise across the whole spectrum
of the duck production. Cherry Valley employs
about 600 people in its UK operations. It also
has several fully owned subsidiary and joint
venture breeding and food processing operations
in China.
