• also used for copies, vending, printing in the
  computer labs, and laundry on campus

Prepaid Debit Card

• Utilizes SmartCard technology
• The most developed university SmartCard program
  in North America
• NOT associated with the Suntrust ATM functions of
  the card
• Do not need SunTrust account to add money to the
  chip.
• SmartChip on the card stores three balances known
  as purses

Vending Purse (Purse1)

• Purse 1 can be used everywhere that accepts the
  UCF Card
• 100.00 Limit
• NOT PIN protected
• Money is NOT guaranteed if card is lost or stolen
• Restaurants retailers
• Pay for Print in campus computer labs
• Coke machines (5 discount for using card)
• Snack machines (5 discount for using card)
• Copy machines (30 discount for using card)
• Laundry facilities on campus

Academic Purse (Purse 2)

• Purse 2 can only be used in the bookstore and to
  pay for tuition in the Cashiers Office
• 5,000.00 limit
• PIN protected
• Money is guaranteed if card is lost or stolen

Retail Purse (Purse 3)

• Purse 3 can be used at all restaurants
  retailers EXCEPT the bookstore
• 5,000.00 limit
• PIN protected
• Money is guaranteed if card is lost or stolen

Advantages to Using the Purses

• No cash needed on campus
• PIN protection guarantee on all but the vending
  purse (Purse1)
• Convenient safe
• No minimum balance on any of the purses
• Only purse to purse transfers on money - cannot
  come off as cash
• Discourages unintended use of money
• Can be refunded by request upon leaving the
  university or graduating
• Money rolls over semester to semester

How to Add Money to UCF Card

• UCF Card Services
• add money to all 3 purses
• accept cash, checks, debit credit cards
• Visa, MasterCard, Discover
• ? NO American Express
• can also make purse to purse transfers
• WebRevalue
• add money to all 3 purses online
• accepts all major credits cards

• Phone or mail
• add money to all 3 purses, parent can pre-pay
  using credit card
• may also send check by mail
• student must stop by UCF Card Services to load
  the money
• Cash to Chip machines
• add cash to Purse 1 only
• 29 machines on campus
• Conveniently located

Credit card transactions are considered purchases

• Convenient way for parents to add money to all 3
  purses of their student card online
• must know students 16 digit card (ISO) number
• accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American
  Express
• student is notified via email that funds are
  available
• Student MUST take ID card to a WebRevalue kiosk
  located on campus to revalue it
• Student may also use the kiosks to view their
  last ten transactions or change their PIN number
