  Hempstead Plains. Indians did not live there, but
  they traveled through on the path approximately
  where Old Country Road is today.

• Henry Willis was the first to live in Westbury,
  he used it for farming in the 1650s.
• Willis named it Westbury after a town in his home
  county of Wiltshire in Europe.
