Germany wanted more land for his country, so he
decided to take it from Poland. 2 days later,
Britain, France and several other nations joined
Poland in the war against Germany.

- Hitler really hated Jewish people.
- When he took over a country, the Jewish people
were captured and sent to concentration camps or
ghettos. - Concentration camps were prisons built to house
the Jews. There they were mistreated and most
were killed. - Ghettos were the ruined remains of cities after
he bombed them. People were imprisoned in them.
They would be surrounded by high fences and lots
of guards.
