Title: There are some problems on pages 2 and 4' These can be adapted to create new problems'
1Children use their knowledge of numbers to solve
problems.
There are some problems on pages 2 and 4. These
can be adapted to create new problems.
Resources to model the problem are available on
pages 3 and 5, together with additional
information which can be used to extend the
problem. They can be dragged onto the page with
the problem and used to support/model children's
solutions. The resources can be used to set
alternative problems. The pages can be annotated
to aid children's understanding and show
different methods of recording.
The pages can be saved and refered to in other
lessons. To do this, as well as keeping the origin
al resource, choose 'file' and 'save as...',
choose a different name for the file, and save.
