Current Practices

• According to a studies conducted by Argonne
  National Laboratory the average sleeper-cab
  tractor idles for 1,830 hours annually, and
  consumes approximately one gallon of diesel fuel
  per hour1
• Long-haul trucks idling overnight consume more
  than 838 million gallons (20 million barrels) of
  fuel annually2
• Under current regulations, based on an 18-hour
  cycle drivers are required to get 10 hours of
  rest for every 11 hours of driving.
• Truck drivers usually sleep about 5 hours in a
  24-hour period, not the 10 continuous hours they
  need for optimal performance.

Problems with Current Practices

The System

• The T.S.E. Unit consists of a rugged custom
  designed stand alone air conditioning and heating
  unit with a capacity of 14,200 BTU for
  cooling/heating. The unit is operated by a
  115vAC 30 Amp power supply.
• Cooled or heated air is delivered by a 6 inch
  diameter insulated flexible hose via the
  Universal Window Adapter which fits into the door
  window.
• Two All weather Power Plugs delivering 115v 30
  Amp service are provided on the Universal Window
  Adapter

The Universal Window Adapter

• Cooled or Heated Air. An automatic thermostat
  will ensure heated air when the ambient
  temperature is below 68?F and cooling air when
  the ambient temperature is above 73F
• The Power Plug will delivering 115v 20Amp
  service.
• An internet RJ45 connector is provided by ATT
  for Laptop operation and IP Telephones.
• Conditioned air and power is delivered by
  connection to a retractable hose and wiring
  system from the Unit
