Father in spirit and in truth for the Father

    and in truth.

15
  • 1 Corinthians 110 Now I beseech you,
brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that ye all speak the same thing, and that there
be no divisions among you but that ye be
perfectly joined together in the same mind and in
    the same judgment.

it. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the
appearance of fire round about within it, from
the appearance of his loins even upward, and from
the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw
as it were the appearance of fire, and it had

bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so

and with twain he covered his feet, and with

word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving,
and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not
care that my sister hath left me to serve alone?
bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus
answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou

with a song, and will magnify Him with
thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD
better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and
    hoofs.

  • There are fewer than 500 verses on faith in the

47

  • There are more than 2350 verses on handling money
    in the Bible.

48

kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory
and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due
unto His name bring an offering, and come into

holiness fear before him, all the earth.

49
Why does god put so much emphasis on money?
50
Why does god put so much emphasis on money?
  • Money is the barometer of our hearts.

51
  • Jeremiah 179 The heart is deceitful above all
things, and desperately wicked who can know it?
  • Matthew 621 For where your treasure is, there
    will your heart be also.

52
Why does god put so much emphasis on money?
  • Money vies for the place of lordship of our
    lives.

53
  • Matthew 624 No man can serve two masters for
either he will hate the one, and love the other
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

54
  • Money, most common of temporal things, involves
uncommon and eternal consequences. Even though it
may be done quite unconsciously, money molds men
in the process of getting it, saving it, spending
it and giving it. Depending on how you use it, it
proves to be a blessing or a curse to its
possessor. Either the man becomes the master of
his money or the money becomes the master of the
man. Our Lord takes money, as essential as it is
to our common life, and as sordid as it sometimes
seems, and makes it a touchtone to test the lives
of men and instrument to mold us into the
    likeness of Himself.

55
Why does god put so much emphasis on money?
  • Money is the gauge that reveals whether we can
    handle true riches.

56
  • Luke 1610-11 He that is faithful in that
which is least is faithful also in much and he
that is unjust in the least is unjust also in
much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in
the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your
    trust the true riches?

57
  • 1 Corinthians 161-2 Now concerning the
collection for the saints, as I have given order
to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon
the first day of the week let every one of you
lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him,
that there be no gatherings when I come.

58
praying
59
  • Psalms 51-3 -Give ear to my words, O LORD,
consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of
my cry, my King, and my God for unto thee will I
pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O
LORD in the morning will I direct my prayer unto
    thee, and will look up.

60
  • Mark 1230 And thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength
    this is the first commandment.
  • John 423 But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship the
Father in spirit and in truth for the Father

and to save that which was lost.
  • Luke 111-2 And it came to pass, that, as He
was praying in a certain place, when He ceased,
one of His disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach
us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
And He said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our
Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven,
    so in earth.

to utter any thing before God for God is in
heaven, and thou upon earth therefore let thy

  • John 155-8 I am the vine, ye are the
branches He that abideth in Me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit for without
Me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in Me,
he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered
and men gather them, and cast them into the fire,
and they are burned. If ye abide in Me, and My
words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my
Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit so
    shall ye be My disciples.

69
  • Psalms 9213-15 Those that be planted in the
house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of

old age they shall be fat and flourishing To
shew that the LORD is upright He is my rock, and

  • Psalms 661-4 - Make a joyful noise unto God,

shall sing to thy name. Selah.
