Why do we change out lights ?

• We were awarded a two million dollar grant to
  help 1,400 businesses save on their energy bills
  in 2004- 2005.
• Changing lighting from incandescent to
  fluorescent saves 75 on lighting costs per each
  converted lamp.
• The yearly savings for the average business is
  between 600 to 1,200.
• Electronic lighting is 20 brighter and flicker
  free, giving a better quality light.

Why is this program free to you?
On the account detail of your PGE bill, you will
see a small charge for public purpose programs.
This charge provides the funding for our
program. You have been paying into this fund
since you have been a PGE customer. Its about
time you got some of your money back! The Energy
Fitness Program is available until December 31st
2005 on a first come, first served basis.

What Gets Installed

• Only retrofit of existing fixtures.
• Up to twenty 4 foot 4 lamp fixtures or ten 8 foot
  fixtures plus as many screw in lamps as your
  business contains.
• Energy Star setback programmable thermostats.
• LED exit signs or retro kits.
• Vending machine controllers.
• All work is performed by our professional work
  crews scheduled at your convenience. The typical
  retrofit takes about 2-4 hours to complete.

All installed lamps have a one year warranty and
will be replaced if defective within one year of
installation. Just call us and we will send a
technician to your business with a replacement.
