2Project Description
- The Connecticut Association of Realtors (CAR)
commissioned - J. Dineen and Associates (JDA) to survey
registered voters in Connecticut. The
questionnaire was developed by JDA with input
from CAR as well as Communications Strategies and
Rome Smith Lutz consulting firms - Interviews were conducted from September 8-17
2008 by Braun Research Inc. - A total of 1302 interviews were conducted. The
margin of error for the statewide sample of this
size is /-2.7 - Of the 1302 interviews 374 registered voters
were surveyed in Connecticuts second
congressional district 348 registered voters
were surveyed in the fourth CD and 328 registered
voters from the fifth congressional district were
surveyed. The margin of error for those groups is
/- 5

- Put CAR in the press issued a press release in
late September that was picked up by print and
online media - Make CARs voice heard in targeted races for the
state House and Senate - Inform CARs legislative agenda
- Provide client perspective on the real estate
process to CAR members
