Step 1 Set gear to Park and Set Emergency Brake

• Vehicle supplied jacks are Dangerous
• Vehicles can roll

Step 2 Loosen wheel nuts

• Check the Vehicles tools before
• Keep your back straight, bend your knees
• Leverage

Step 3 Raise Vehicle

• Never get under vehicle
• Use Manufactures lifting points (owners
  manual)
• Go higher than the flat tire

Step 4 Remove and Install Spare

• Only snug the wheel nuts
• Tapered side in

Step 5 Lower and Tighten

• Youre almost there
• Leverage is the key
• Keep your back straight

Driving with a Compact Spare Tire

• Most are speed rated
• For temporary use only!
• Your car is not the same now
• Commonly referred to as a Doughnut
