competence for radiation exposed workers and one
of the bases for the optimisation programmes

  • Local Radiation Protection Head (if required by
    the regulating organisation)

In large Hospitals, the RP Head must be a Medical
Physics Expert. In small instalations, the RP
Head can be someone that has succesfully passed a
capacitation course.
The capacitation course involves a minimum of 350
hours plus an examination
