  • Glucose comes from the food we eat
  • Glucose also is made in the Liver and Muscles

  • Insulin is a hormone made in the pancreas
  • Insulin helps the glucose in the blood get into
    the cells
  • Diabetes occurs when we dont make enough insulin
    or the insulin we make does not work

  • Feeling hungry
  • Feeling Tired
  • Weight loss ( type 1)
  • Prone to infections - Thrush
  • Blurry eyesight
