TRY IT HALF TERM CAMP
Liverpool Lions Rugby League Club an invitation
We will be running a half term rugby camp for all
children from year 4 through to year 8. The
camp will be on Wednesday February 18th between
1000am and 300pm. This will replace the normal
Wednesday evening training session for that day.
The day will include rugby skills and drills,
sports nutritional advice, health fitness
advice for long term athlete development, an
interactive video session showing a super league
match, a session on the rules/laws of the sport
and a full contact game. The various age groups
will be split accordingly to cater for their
skill requirements. The emphasis for younger
players will be on the FUNdamentals of rugby
league! The attendees will be put through their
RL bronze skills award on the day and awarded a
certificate for completion of the relevant
skills. We will be using De La Salle High
School, Croxteth with training taking place on
both indoors and outdoors. Both indoor and
outdoor clothing is required, including trainers
and rugby boots. Attendees will be required to
bring a packed lunch for the day and their own
drinks, although we can provide drinking water.
You are welcome to bring your children and /or
their friends along for the session, but we need
to know approximate numbers in advance and any
new children must have a parental consent form
signed prior to taking part. If you would like
