Pastoral Care Committee Ministries Let the life
of the Lord flow through you! Pastoral Care
Committee helps to identify the pastoral care
needs of the Parish. BeFrienders trained lay
people helping others through lifes
transitions. Golden Agers social, spiritual
group for seniors aged 55. Planned monthly
activities and events. Growing Through Loss for
those experiencing a loss (loved one, job,
divorce, etc.). Shared experience. Eucharist to
Homebound trained parishioners bring Eucharist
to people who are unable to get to church. Meals
On Wheels deliver meals to shut-ins over the
noon hour in Prior Lake one week each month.
Parish Nurse licensed registered nurses that
facilitate physical, mental and spiritual health
in the Parish. Card Ministry Greeting card
outreach to the sick, bereaved, or those 55 or
older on their birthday. Prayer Line group of
parishioners available to pray for your specific
intentions. Prayer Shawl prayer and love of
knitting combined to touch those needing comfort
with a special shawl. Separated and Divorced
Catholics ten church coalition. Groups meet
Oct-April. Sandcastles assist children ages
6-17 in dealing with their reaction to parents
separation or divorce. Military Ministry
dedicated to the praying for and supporting of
military and their families. Funeral Ministry
Planning with Fr. Sieg and Deacon Roy. Funeral
Luncheon Committee provide meal after funeral
for family and friends of deceased. Families In
Action offers outreach opportunities to families
that want to volunteer as a family unit. Please
