• Initiative to change the Constitution and enact
  Law on direct election of municipal mayors in F
  BiH
• Campaign to declare Prokosko Lake a monument of
  nature
• Campaign to de-politicise education direct
  election for primary school principals
• Project to form Civic movement GROZD that
  significantly affected the turnout and political
  scene in the 2006 elections in BiH.

• About the problem....
• Political legal status of the Capital is
  entirely undefined
• No valid documentation that would scientifically
  address the existing situation and recommend
  improvements
• This situation produce permanent polarisation and
  politicisation
• Public discussion is led mainly by political
  parties without participation of civil society
  and experts

• About goals....
• Conduct the first, comprehensive,
  non-instrumentalised, non-partisan research of
  the status of the Capital
• Produce legitimate recommendations for
  optimisation of the existing situation
• Introduce the topic of redefinition of the status
  of the Capital into the main discourse and
  upcoming negotiations on Constitutional reform in
  BiH.

• Conducted research

• Status of the Capital is one of the prevailing
  topics in public
• Discussion included prominent experts, all levels
  of government, political parties, media and
  citizens
• All preconditions for the realisation of the
  long-term objective are met contemporarily
  organised Capital with clear political-legal
  status, self-government and satisfied citizens.

About the future...

• Continuation of the projects that address local
  governance in BiH are a MUST
• To insist on the long-term objectives of the
  Status of the Capital of BiH- possibly launch
  second phase of the project
• A more intensive presence in BiH will be a
  guarantee for the local development and regional
  co-operation development
