    information on countries, territories, and
    dependencies.
  • Country Insights (from globalEDGE) Provides
    current information on the business climate,
    news, history, political structure, economic
    landscape, and statistical data for more that 197

  • Business Source Premier (BSP) Provides full text
    for more than 8,800 serials and non-journal
    content includes market research reports,
    industry reports, country reports, company
    profiles and SWOT analyses. It covers topics on
    accounting, banking, finance, international
    business, management, marketing, real estate,
    regional studies, sales, trade and technology.

  • World Trade Organization (WTO) A global
    international organization dealing with the rules
    of trade between nations. The web site provides
    information on statistics, research, publications
    and other services offered by the WTO.
  • World Bank Provides information on health,
    education, the environment, private sector
    development, poverty, and economic reform issues,
    etc. Includes factual data on the countries that
    are assisted by the World Bank. Of particular
    usefulness is the searchable WDS database of the
    6,000 plus World Bank publications, select
    full-text reports, and learning resources.

  • Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) It was
    established in 1989 to further enhance economic
    growth and prosperity for the region and to
    strengthen the Asia-Pacific community. APEC has
    21 members, which account for more than a third
    of the world's population (2.6 billion people),
    approximately 60 of world GDP (US19, 254
    billion) and about 47 of world trade. The APEC
    website provides full-text news, media, events,
    business resources, projects, publications,
    documents and reports of all members.
