Getting Started
  • Turn On the Power

Turn On the Power
  • Plug in the power cord.
  • Plug in the network cable (if youre using the
    web).
  • Turn on the Computer.
  • Turn on the Projector.

Focus the Projector
  • Place the cart 6-8 in front of the whiteboard.
  • Adjust the projector so it is projecting upwards
    toward the whiteboard.
  • Turn the INNER focus (zoom) ring to adjust image
    size.
  • Turn the OUTER focus ring to focus the image.

Launch Tegrity
  • There are four ways to launch Tegrity
  • The system tray icon
  • Start?Programs?Tegrity Software
  • Double click the floating Tegrity icon.
  • Open PowerPoint, then go to the Tegrity menu and
    choose Launch Tegrity
  • Hint Launch any additional programs youll be
    using before you start Tegrity.

Start a Web-Based Class
  • When PowerPoint loads, go to the Tegrity menu and
    choose Web-Based Class
  • Tegrity menu

  • Microphone audio

  • Test the Microphone
  • (yellow bars should be active)

Focus the Tegrity Camera
  • When you start Tegrity, the camera adjustment
    wizard will start if the Tegrity camera needs
    focusing.
  • Adjust the arrows to fit 4 corners as much as
    possible.

USING THE TOUCH PANEL
  • Face palm out.
  • Use your index finger.
  • Stay close to the board.
  • Cover about half of a button.
  • Pause for a second.

  • Print
  • Insert Slide
  • Delete Slide
  • Remove Captures
  • Pause Session
  • Stop Session

  • Launch open applications
  • Use document camera
  • Navigate among slides

CAPTURE
  • Draw on the whiteboard with a dry erase marker.
  • Click the Capture icon on the touch panel.
  • Click Capture.
  • Be sure to stay clear of the board while the
    capture is taking place.

  • Two ways to open the document camera.
  • Click Goto, then Paper Viewing
  • Press the INS key on the keyboard

  • Use when you need to take several captures.
  • Snap and Close
  • Use when you need to take a snap shot and return
    to PowerPoint immediately.
