Lessons Learned on the way
  • Saying yes is easier than saying no but
    learning to say no the right way gets better
    results
  • It is a small world so be nice
  • The world revolves around relationships
  • Having the right credentials gets you in the room
  • Talk to people dont hide behind emails or
    documents
  • Moving jobs frequently (even in the same company)
    when you first start is a good thing
  • There are good bosses and bad bosses lifes too
    short to live with a bad boss
  • Broad is good and so is deep. Broad gives you
    more options but you need to have depth somewhere
  • The better you understand the business the more
    you can impact it
  • No one on the business side cares about
    technology in itself. They care about what it can
    do for them
  • Passion is the most important thing you can bring
    to the table
