YSC Mission and History
  • The Young Survival Coalition is the only
    international non profit focused on Young Women
    and Breast cancer. We work through action,
    advocacy and awareness and seek to increase the
    quality and quantity of life for all young women
    affected by the disease through educating the
    medical, research, legislative and breast health
    communities to address breast cancer in women 40
    and under. We also serves as a vital resource for
    young women living with the disease.

YSC Mission and History
  • The YSC was founded by three young women who were
    all diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of
    32. Discouraged by the lack of information and
    research on and for young women diagnosed with
    breast cancer they decided to make a difference
    in the lives of others and began the YSC.
  • What was once three young women is a global
    network of 11,000 survivors, supporters and
    global partners working to change the status quo
    and the way breast cancer is viewed.

    brand exposure through Hersheys Kisses.
  • Hersheys York Pink Peppermint Patties also
    sponsored the YSC annual bike ride, Tour de Pink
    in which 8 bikers rode from NYC to Hershey, PA to
    raise awareness of breast cancer in young women
