• At lunch, dont be quick to throw things out.
• Learn to COMPOST!

• Once youre done eating, you need to separate
  scraps from your lunch into compost, recycle, and
  trash piles.
• Here are things you can and can not compost from
  a lunchroom

• By composting, you reduce trash.
• In the lunchroom, just place the appropriate
  items in the compost trashcan.

• In the compost bins, food is broken down by
  things like
• bacteria and worms.

Dont forget, you can also turn it by hand!

Once the compost is turned back into soil, it can
be put back onto the ground.

• The fresh compost is full of nutrients that will
  help plants grow.

• 1.The first stage is your food that you put in
  the composting bin.
• 2. Then when you put the compost in the box with
  the worms, it will turn into dirt.
• 3.Then we put it in the ground.
