  • No one test can assess total body muscular
    fitness.
  • Use the specificity principle to determine which
    test or tests you should conduct.
  • The benefits to testing muscular fitness are the
    same as those mentioned previously.

  • Muscular strength is defined as the maximal force
    that can be generated by a specific muscle or
    muscle group.
  • Muscular endurance is defined as the ability of a
    muscle or muscle group to conduct multiple
    contractions over a period of time sufficient
