So, What is Toastmasters, anyway -- will I learn
to make toast?
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide
a mutually supportive and positive learning
environment in which every member has the
opportunity to develop oral communication and
leadership Skills, which in turn foster
self-confidence and personal growth. Unilever
Toastmasters Club is a fun, empathetic, diverse
group of people who are just as scared of public
speaking as you are. We are sponsored by
Unilever, to give you the opportunity to improve
your skills.

• No, there won't be any cooking, but the
  communication skills you learn here may help you
  with impromptu speaking such as giving a toast at
  a wedding.

Unilever Toastmasters Club is a fun,
empathetic, diverse group of people who are just
as scared of public speaking as you are. Were
here to support each other and learn better
communication skills together.
There are usually 2 speeches at each meeting.
Members evaluate each speech and give positive,
constructive feedback. No-one will laugh at you.
Meetings are 2nd and 4th Tuesdays 12-1 in café
