The following observation occurred during center
time. Chelsea invited her friend Tiffany to have
a cup of coffee at the dramatic play area. She
said, My dear, would you join me for a cup?
She giggled and sat down for a cup of tea. They
played with the plastic foods and their fancy
outfits for a while. Chelsea decided that it was
time to move on to another center and she said,
Lets clean up Tiff. Comment Chelsea played
well with her peer and is quite a
delight to watch in the dramatic play area.

Common and Proper Nouns. She along with her
classmates was given ten words/statements. They
included the examples skeleton, Valentines
Day. The students were given a list of ten as
described above. They used their pen and paper
to complete this assignment. They did not have
the use of any resource material since they had a
class review the previous day and no one had been

correct answer was worth. To ensure correct

Summary  Chelsea and her class were given a
topic on horses. Chelsea had to first read a
short story about horses, and then had to answer
five multiple choice questions about the topic.
This was done during the Language Arts period.
Chelsea made herself comfortable and started
reading the story. She read the story well but
could not identify the following words fillies,
corrals, and brushed. She raised her hand each
time when she needed help. Chelsea was quiet and
concentrated well as she was read and answered
the questions. She answered all five questions
correctly and was very happy with her grade of
100. Later, as I gave her back her paper she
insisted that she loved horses and knew
everything about them. She said, Daddy always
takes me to the racetrack with him to see the
pretty horses. Chelsea is a hard worker, and it
is reflected in the work she turns in.
