• Personal and Professional Biography

My life revolves around the sport of rodeo along
with my spouse Sonya Taypotat. Together, we both
have qualified for the Indian National Finals,
and the International Finals Rodeo and share the
dream of qualifying to the National Finals Rodeo
and represent First Nations people in North
America. Rodeo is an integral part of my life. It
is a lifestyle that I have grown accustomed to as
I began at the age of 8. My parents raised us to
work around cattle and horses for most of our
young lives. I also grew up with a natural
talent for Hockey. It was then a coach told me
that I had to make decision between hockey and
rodeo. I chose hockey, and played for many
teams Vernon Vipers, BC Omaha Lancers,
Nebraska St. John Flames, New Brunswick Calgary
Hitmen Pensacola Ice Pilots, Florida and had
also signed with the Calgary Flames. Now that my
professional hockey days are over, I have been
concentrating on Pro Rodeo. I have many
accomplishments that have been rewarding in many
ways.

  horse trailer and or applied to my personal rodeo

  into the rodeo program (whenever possible) during
