• Biomass is living and dead bio material such as
  wood.
• A biomass boiler uses wood chips as a fuel to
  provide space and water heating.
• Although carbon emissions (CO2) are produced the
  plants and trees absorbed an equal amount during
  their life Carbon Neutral.
• Plants and trees actually give off carbon if left
  to decay naturally!

• Why The Kings Park Biomass Boiler
• Kings Park (KP) Nursery supplies plants and
  flowers for civic functions and the many councils
  parks. The large green houses require continuous
  heating.
• Bournemouth BC Parks department produces an
  excess of wood chippings from operations free
  supply of fuel.
• The existing boilers are coming to the end of
  their useful life.

• Wood chips will be delivered and loaded into a
  storage bunker on a lower level.
• The bunker will hold around 5 tonnes of wood
  chip.
• The wood chip will be motor fed into the boiler.
• Will use between 15 and 132 Kg/hour wood chip.
• The boiler produces very little emissions
  mainly steam.

  heat exchanger.
• The heat exchanger transfers heat from the boiler
  to the glass house heating pipes.
• The heat exchanger used to isolate the new pipe
