Knowing Christ

Philippians 38,10 I consider everything a loss
compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing
Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost
all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may
gain Christ. I want to know Christ and the
power of his resurrection and the fellowship of
sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in
his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the
resurrection from the dead.

2. Spend time alone with God DAILY But the Lord
answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you
are worried and bothered about so many things
but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has
chosen the good part, which shall not be taken
away from her." Luke 1138-42.

3. SURRENDER every area of your life to
Christ. "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a
grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it
remains alone but if it dies, it bears much
fruit. He who loves his life loses it, and he who
hates his life in this world will keep it to life
eternal. John 1224,25

4. SERVE others in Christ. Jesus called them
together and said, "You know that those who are
regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over
them, and their high officials exercise authority
over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever
wants to become great among you must be your
servant, and whoever wants to be first must be
slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not
come to be served, but to serve, and to give his
life as a ransom for many. Mark
1042-45

5. TRUST Jesus in your everyday situations. So
do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or
'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
For the pagans run after all these things, and
your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as
well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has
