Project Objective
  • The objective of the Technical Improvement and
    Innovation Project (TI2P) is to provide technical
    colleges and divisions with an opportunity for
    enhancement through developing, applying, and
    demonstrating educational improvements and
    innovations.

Project Parameters
  • Project Parameters are set forth in the
    administrative, programmatic, and financial
    requirements of the TI2P Guidebook, which will be
    posted on the DTAE website soon.

Project Parameters
  • OTE oversees the awards process.
  • Applications must be received by email and
    signature forms postmarked by 08.30.03.
  • Participation is voluntary.
  • PAS Coordinators are OTEs college contacts.
  • Projects must be designed to reach a logical and
    fiscal conclusion by the end of FY 2004.
  • Projects must directly relate to improving
    performance on Perkins core subindicators
    (academic attainment, vocational attainment,
    graduation, graduate placement, retention in
    employment, nontraditional participation, and
    nontradtional completion).
  • Projects must benefit students in
    credit/vocational programs, and projects must be
    for activities otherwise eligible for Perkins
    funding (i.e. normally, no economic development,
    continuing education, or adult literacy
    activities).
  • School-to-Work focused projects will be rejected.
