Canada Day Float
The Coin-spiracy was first revealed at the Canada
Day Parade in Abbotsford with the launch of the
Invest in a Kinder World Float.
The Float not only captured the hearts of
thousands of spectators but also won first prize
in its category.

September 11, 2002
Campaign Launch
The Coin-spiracy was then officially unveiled and
explained at school assemblies held in memory of
the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

November 13, 2002
UNI Coin Launch
On November 13, World Kindness Day, schools held
special assemblies to celebrate the launch of the
UNI coin and the beginning of the amazing
Coin-spiracy adventure.
The Vancouver Playback Theatre Troop performed a
special piece to demonstrate the emotional impact
and rippling effect of both unkind acts and kind
acts.

The Coin-spiracy Team then officially presented
the UNI coin to the students
Schools launched the UNI by performing 3 kind
acts one for self, the environment and another.
as they shared their kind acts plan and vision
for the Coin-spiracy.

Kind Acts to Self
Kind acts to self included
decorating school hallways with artwork
depicting kindness 
learning the importance of healthy habits
creating an outdoor sanctuary
hosting a special potluck party

Kind Acts to the Environment
Kind acts to the environment included
creating and displaying painted fish on the
school fence to raise awareness
planting trees
clearing the school grounds
cleaning up a local dyke

Kind Acts to Another
Kind acts to another included
performing for senior residents
collecting donations for people in need
adopting divisions of City Hall to learn about
and express gratitude for their important role
creating and hand delivering gifts to students
at a neighbouring school

The Coin-spiracy Grows!
More coins have been reported in Australia,
Japan, Ukraine, Bosnia, Africa, Mexico,
Argentina, Brazil
Upon completing the 3 kind acts, schools then
passed on the coin to the recipient of their kind
act and invited them to join the Coin-spiracy.
UNI passes hands in North Vancouver.
UNI Coins have not only been caught in the act of
kindness locally but also globally
