Role of the Cadet Hostess

• Traditional position at USMA - first
  established in 1931
• New look -new focus for needs of 21st Century
  Army
• Organized as part of Directorate of Cadet
  Activities
• Main focus of support is to the Corps of Cadets
  and
• the Brigade Tactical Department and USCC Staff
• Responsible to help coordinate and integrate the
  Cadet
• Social Development Program

Additional Functions of Cadet Hostess Office

• Act as POC for various organizations, i.e.,
  information center for events in NYC area,
  Broadway discount tickets, hotels, limos,
  restaurants things to do in the local area
• Organize and assist in the planning of all class
  weekends
• Christmas gift wrap, wedding advisors, authority
  for all protocol etiquette questions
