• Chapter 1 Verses 1-11
• Lets look at Luke 2445-53 as a connection to
  volume 1. Notice how the author transitions from
  volume 1 to volume 2.
• In verse 5 Luke states that something will happen
  in a few days. How many days is this and what is
  it?
• 10 days before the Father sends the Holy Spirit.
• What did they think was going to happen in a few
  days?
• They were thinking that the kingdom of Isreal was
  to be established over Rome.
• In verse 7 time is discussed-see also 1 TH 51
• Who were Jesus brothers.
• James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas albeit Roman
  Catholic belief is that they were cousins and
  Mary remained a Virgin
• How did Judas purchase the field-Did he do it
  before he died?
• It was actually purchased by the Jewish priests
  from the returned 30 pieces of silver.

• Eschatology is a Christian term that means the
  study of the end of history from a religious
  perspective. Probably more obscure theological
  text has been written on this topic than on any
  other belief in Christendom.
• What is Jesus focused on?
• The Great Commission - In other words, why do you
  stand there looking into the sky? Get to work!
• What are we obsessed with?

• Chapter 1 Verses 12-26
• Where did the Apostles go after the resurrection
  and what did they do? Look at Luke 2452-53
• They went to the temple praising God. The upper
  room was probably where they ate and slept. It
  appears that they did not hide away in an upper
  room but rather were passing on to others what
  they knew.
• Instead of waiting for the Holy Spirit what did
  the Apostles do?
• Drew lots for the replacement of Judas.
• Was this action presumptuous? Peter used Psalm
  6925 and Psalm 1098. What do you think of
  Peters action?
