  • Tobit- devout and wealthy
  • Lives among captives deported to Ninevah
  • Suffers reversal of fortune and is blinded by

  • Begs the lord to let him die
  • Remembers money saved- sends son Tobiah to get
    it- Chapter 4- instructions
