Resolutions from Brisbane Congress

  • RESOLUTION 1
  • This forum recommends that the relevant bodies
    develop generic performance indicators for
    Australias 8 jurisdictional land administrations
    systems by 2003
  • RESOLUTION 2
  • This forum recommends that ISA convenes, a
    national conference on reform of land
    administration systems, involving all relevant
    bodies by 2004.
  • RESOLUTION 3
  • This forum recommends to relevant bodies to
    undertake a review of the efficiency and
    effectiveness of the maintenance of 8 separate
    jurisdictional land administration systems
    (including cadastral survey systems) in
    Australia, and commit to a migrating to a single
    system (at least common elements) by 2010, which
    matches or exceeds worlds best practice.
  • RESOLUTION 4
  • This Forum recommends that ISA requests RSBANZ in
    conjunction with ICSM to develop a national model
    for a single survey system.
